Galbadia Hotel is a website which has loads of soundtracks for video games, all available for free download. There are literally hundreds of thousands of soundtracks for you to download for games from any time period, for any console.

The site features:
  • MP3 downloads
  • MIDI downloads
  • Sheet music
  • Even a Blog!
It's a reasonably young site, less than a year old, but they have a lot more planned for the future: "In the future we plan on expanding past our current offerings. We won't just stop at video game soundtracks, artbooks and media-- we're already starting to add anime soundtracks to our collection. In the future we plan on expanding to whole anime episodes, downloads of abandonware games, and just about anything else you can think of related to video games and anime."

Keep your eye on this one!

Yeah, you really should remove this post. You basically telling everyone to illegally download music. Emulation is one thing but downloading music is blatant piracy.

 » Copyright infringement, anyone?

Aren't the soundtracks (or compositions) copyrighted material? IIRC, even if you performe it yourself, the original composer might still be able to sue you for copyright infringement, because he didn't gave his permission for distributing your own version of HIS piece. Not speak of ripping it from a ROM/Game/TV series. But anyway, my 2cents

I run gh. there's no risk of it being shut down. as I said in our mission statement & legal info, what we're doing falls within fair use because the material is not commercially available & we comply with the requests of the artists/distributors.

Blatant advertising. Also, Galbadia Hotel is run by perverts and their files are usually badly encoded, badly tagged and badly named. If you want quality, torrent release groups take the cake.

Sorry to say, but you cannot. Square-ENIX made them take off all of their Final Fantasy music.

Anyhow, I love it. Seeing as for the most part I already own the games with the music already, this is very handy. Also, it's good for finding rare types of music, like the Orchestral Game Concert series.

Hehehe, I'm also one of the reviewers on the blog, gotta do a new one sometime. Anyhow, peace!
