One way to promote continued interest in an MMORPG is to hold fun events every now and then.

Speaking of which, Internet Gaming Gate (IGG) is holding a series of events for Angels Online known as the Weekend Event Explosion.

According to IGG, the five Angels Online weekend events are as follows:

1. Gladiator I - Teams of Angel Gladiators duke it out in a special Arena of Death.
   
2. Cast Pirate Light Adrift - Exchange collected Pirate Sets for different items.
   
3. Date with Destiny - Find the hidden GM and trade items with him to get special prizes.
   
4. Prison Break III - Have your team beat the monster challenges that the GM throws at you.
   
5. Leveling Shortcuts - Speed up your leveling with the monsters Michael summons.
