A example of zaniness inherent in Elf Online - Image 1ELF Online may be an eccentric, zany game, but sometimes the fun has to pause for a bit in order for it to continue later on. Case in point: HappyMMO recently brought the game servers down yesterday for its weekly server maintenance.

According to HappyMMO, the ELF Online servers went down from from 4:00 a.m. EST (GMT-5) to 5:00 a.m. EST(GMT-5) for the purpose of the said maintenance.

Players were informed to make preparations and to log off in time in order to avoid problems later on. Granted, the downtime may have been inconvenient, but it was a necessary step for HappyMMO in preserving the integrity of the ELF Online servers.

If it helps keep the fun going in the long run, then it's well worth the wait.
