Long downtimes are always inconvenient, but they're sometimes unavoidable. For example, HappyMMO brought the ELF Online servers down at 3:00 a.m. EST last March 31 for the weekly maintenance. Thing is, what should normally have taken only an hour took a total of 12 hours instead. As HappyMMO proceeded with the maintenance work, it soon became clear that the down time would take longer than usual. Thus, the company released the following official statement to ELF Online players: Elf Online server is still under maintenance. This maintenance may take a little bit longer hours. The exact server up time will be announced on our official site. Sorry for the inconvenience. The important thing is that service to ELF Online has already been restored. In an official statement yesterday, HappyMMO announced this and offered an apology to players for the inconvenience. Now players can once again get busy with their eccentric weapons. |
