Halifax, Bank of Scotland still to accommodate Blizzard payments - Image 1Here's a little follow up to our report earlier that the UK bank Halifax is refusing to accept subscription payments for Blizzard's MMORPG World of Warcraft.

This is due to the alleged fraudulent credit cards used during transactions. Blizzard has now confirmed that the reports were true but clarified that Halifax is not totally closing their doors to Blizzard costumers. Halifax attested to this by saying:

If a customer does want to subscribe to a game site operated by Blizzard, using a Halifax or Bank of Scotland credit card, we can arrange for the payments to be processed for them if they contact us.

While this move is an entirely business one for Halifax, we can't help but think about the welfare of those who are using good and honest Halifax credit cards to pay for World of Warcraft subscriptions.
