 This should have been titled "EVE Online dominates Readers Choice awards." Accordingly, MMO-dedicated site MMORPG.com recently ran an MMO festival, if you will, to know the best game for 2006. There were a number of categories and as we've mentioned, EVE Online received most of them. Anyway, here's the list of all the winners:
- Favorite Graphics: EVE Online
- Favorite PvE: EVE Online
- Favorite PvP: EVE Online
- Favorite Story: EVE Online
- Most Anticipated: Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning
- Favorite New Game: None of the Above
- Favorite Game: EVE Online
None of the Above is actually a game set in vast universe of... Nah! We are just humoring you. None of the above actually means there is no winner at all. According to MMORPG.com, 62.6% of the overall votes claimed that they are actually disappointed with this year's releases. A minority of the readers (20%) voted for Guild Wars: Nightfall.
The nominations actually occurred around one and a half months ago. A total number of 60,000 votes were cast in the nomination and final voting rounds.
