Pirates of the Burning Sea Flying Lab Software - Image 1The Pirates of the Burning Sea Preboarding Party just kicked off recently (January 7, 10 am Pacific Time), but just in case you're having some trouble with joining in on the fun bash, Flying Lab Software set up a useful FAQ page which you can turn to for reference.

One of the more basic things that gamers should know that only those who pre-ordered the game can join the Preboarding Party. Key Codes are sent to those who pre-ordered Pirates of the Burning Sea, which is needed to play the game as early as January 7.

Those who are worried about their Preboarding characters getting wiped upon the game's full launch on January 22 don't need to fret, since you get to keep the characters even after the the formal release of the game.

In case you purchased a pre-ordered box of the game with the Soundtrack CD, and there were no Key Codes included, you can submit a report in their support site to help you join the Preboarding Party. Keep in mind that you need to set-up an SOE Station account to report an issue, of course.
