Heads up, eager adventurers of Everquest 2. We've just learned that the Shard of Hate is coming to Norrath on April 8, so you'd best be prepared for it.

If you're wondering what the Shard of Hate game update, also known as Game Update 44, is all about, then here's a quick recap. It seems the shard of hate has infected the denizens of Norrath with its hate energy, and you can choose to either stop it by allying yourself with the Priests of Love, or propagate the hate energy by joining the group known as The Dead.
