EverQuest II - Image 1

If you're one of the many digital adventurers trekking the perilous plains of Sony Online Entertainment's EverQuest II, then here's some news you might want to take with you: there's going to be a small server-wide downtime period this April 1 due to some intensive network maintenance. The exact quote from the news update, verbatim:

Beginning at 4am PST/11am GMT on April 1, 2008 all game servers and community sites will be unavailable due to network maintenance. We expect this maintenance to take approximately 2 hours. We apologize for this interruption and will resume all game servers and community sites as soon as the maintenance is completed.

Well, if anything, at least it's not going to be a very long wait. And before you ask if this is another April Fool's Day prank in advance, then you have Gnobrin's own reassurance that it isn't, so you might as well use those two hours to rest up. In any case, updates as we get them!
