Eve Online: Cynosural field bug classified as exploit - Image 1

Even within the relatively free-flowing EVE Online MMORPG, there are some rules that aren't meant to be broken. Now, if you happen to have been planting cynosural fields inside your Starbase's forcefields, you may want to stop lest you face the wrath of the game GMs.

CCP Games is sending word that this action, while it gives players and their other cyno-jumping allies a big advantage, has been classified as an exploit. The company further noted that the game isn't supposed to allow you to do this in the first place (A bug, perhaps?).

For those of you who've tried this exploit before, consider this a warning, and a suggestion to cease and desist. For the rest, you may want to keep an eye out in case your fellow gamers attempt this stunt.
