MMO gamers itching to try out EA Mythic's Warhammer Online: Age of Reckoning will finally be able to do so this September 7, when the game's open beta phase finally goes live.

Players in North America can access the open beta buy pre-ordering the game or by visiting FilePlanet.com and signing up for a limited number of available slots. Those who previously had access to the closed beta will automatically be able to play during the open beta as well.

EA Mythic will also be hosting a special North American Beta Preview Weekend from August 22 to August 25, with over 100,000 players invited to end the closed beta with a bang. The game itself is set to be released this September 18 and will simultaneously launch in North America, Europe and Oceania.

Only 75,000 open beta keys will be available upon downloading the open beta client from FilePlanet.com. What are you waiting for then? Hop onto the FilePlanet.com servers and gun for that slot for a chance to play in the open beta of one of the most anticipated MMO titles of the year.
