 It looks like Turbine will be hibernating for a few hours while
it goes through some scheduled maintenance. We just got word that the scheduled
maintenance for all Turbine Inc. games, forums, and websites will be
occurring on Monday, February 25.
Here's the official announcement from Lorien "Ramen" Carney, Community Relations Specialist for Lord of the Rings Online:
Scheduled Maintenance - Monday, February 25th, 2008 7-11am EST
All Turbine services - games, websites, and forums - are scheduled for maintenance and will be offline from 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Eastern (-5 GMT). Please note that there will be a possibility of limited to no forum/website access from 9:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Thanks for your patience during the maintenance!
For the MMO-addicted fans of the game, it might just mean a couple of extra hours of sleep, which doesn't sound like a bad thing. In any case, keep checking QJ for more updates on this and all your other favorite games.
