Final Fantasy XI - Image 1

If you've been playing Square Enix's Final Fantasy XI on your PC or Xbox 360 regularly, then you may have already picked up their latest content update. If you haven't picked it up though, you may want to read on, as we've got the story on what this new content update entails.

Now, there's a lot of stuff that's in the patch notes, so we've got a sampling of the most pertinent portions of the update.

Perhaps the most important part of the update has everything to do with the upcoming expansion that'll be out on November 22, Wings of the Goddess. The update includes the new areas and the Scholar and Dancer job classes that are included in the latest expansion.

There's also some non-expansion content that's a part of the update. For instance, new spells and abilities have been added to make your characters more versatile. You can also invite party members into your Mog House now. Furthermore, changes have been made to the Chocobo Circuit, with the most obvious of them being the reduction in sign-up fees and the length of time required to enter a race.

Players wishing to check out the full details can follow the source link below. In the meantime, be warned that you can't access the new content until November 22 (or 21, depending on where you're at), so you'll have to be patient.

 » can anyone

tell me how much HDD space this bad boy takes up? Someone bought this for me long ago but I'd heard it takes ridiculous amounts of space and I've had lots to play so it's still in the pkg. From what I've heard I proly don't have the space...

same here, never got around to it. was offered for free with my 360 at my local games shop. We might be missing something good but then I have the same problem. A lot of game content and much of it replayable. Also had a problem with a major Hexic addiction for about 4 months. On my 4 round of Bioshock now at the most difficult level. yeah yeah I am slow but who cares as long as its fun.
