Dark Age of Camelot EA Mythic MMORPG - Image 1Community Manager Missy Hatch has released information about the latest hotfixes, new equipment, and updates on the Halloween events in EA Mythic's MMORPG Dark Age of Camelot.

DAoC gamers might want to know that the old versions of the Infiltration quests have been disabled via a hotfix. Players who previously accepted the quest but haven't completed it should talk with their realm's Storyteller. The NPC will give them a new quest directing the players to the realm's capital. Once in the capital, they will be able to partake in the Infiltration quest.

Here are the other hotfixes implemented:

  • (Classic Servers) The Thane Dragon Armor reward table has been fixed.  The quest was giving out the entire armor set instead of offering the player a choice of the items each time they complete it.
  • The Midgard and Hibernia versions of Mission: Infiltration now display their waypoints correctly.
Current subscribers to the Dark Age of Camelot newsletter can now pick up a disguise potion from the Editor-In-Chief NPC in the capital cities. In addition, players who haven't received the original newsletter rewards consisting of a Realm Ability Respec Stone, Realm Specific Dragon's Revenge Themed Cloak, and random Trifecta Pet reward (levels 40 and up only) will be happy to know that they can still pick-up these items as well.

As for Halloween events, Campacorentin Station, Aegirhamn, and Mag Mell are now haunted. Hatch also gave word that players can now use most of the costume potions anywhere until the afternoon of November 1. Be advised though that the good pixie, evil pixie, ghost, and spirit potions are still subject to the guild/housing restrictions of use.

Judging from all the changes, EA Mythic must has been pretty busy sprucing up the MMORPG. If you have an active Dark Age of Camelot account, you might want to log on and try out all of the changes that were added recently.
