After announcing around June of last year that MMORPG Jumpgate will be revised to Jumpgate Evolution, NetDevil suddenly became quiet about the whole thing. This, then, caused fears that the game will be shelved for good.
However, all of those fears end today as NetDevil has revealed a new partnership with publisher Codemasters Online that will make Jumpgate Evolution a reality across Europe and North America this year.
"Jumpgate Evolution brings something new and fresh to the online persistent space. The all-action approach and thrilling, twitch-based space combat really
sets it apart from other MMOs in the market, said Codemasters Online VP David Solari.
This particular MMO, for those not quite familiar with it, is space-based with three playable nations. It allows players to trade goods, commence raids in outer-space and become loved heroes or feared space pirates.
"We're really excited about this relationship. This combination of experience and dedication is a perfect fit for
NetDevil and we are thrilled to be working with such a great partner," added NetDevil President Scott Brown.
