The Rikti are invading Paragon City and the Rogue Isles from August 1 to August 7. Now all the players of City of Heroes need their avatars to be in tip top shape during this invasion. Something that will be made much easier with the newly added purchasable character respecs.

According to the announcement on the official City of Heroes website, the optional character respecs are available through the in-game store which can be found on the character select screen. It isn't free though, it costs US$ 9.99 per respec.

Remember, after purchasing the respec, you will have to visit an in-game respec contact to use it, similar to the other free respec options given in the game.
