Finally, the news is out. WoW fans, brace yourselves: Blizzard confirms that they're "definitely going to be adding more [Arena levels] as we go, and probably sooner than later. Of course we'll give you a big shiny page with details when we're ready to announce something."

Drysc, a representative from Blizzard, replied in the WoW Forums when a request was made for at least two more Arena levels, in addition to the only two available.

Improvements are definitely in thought, although Blizzard can't give anything concrete enough to claim here, either. The battleground system (think Warcraft in Warcraft) isn't going to be abandoned, just yet.

So all we have is Blizzard's word and a little more time that you anticipate it will take. Well, as long as the new Arena season is opening soon, at least we could spruce up a few more good ideas in the meantime.
