Seeking new ways to go adventuring online? NCSoft just might have the thing for you with Aion: Tower of Eternity. This week, we're treated to a sneak peek of one of the game's job classes: the Spiritmaster. We've got a clip that shows the class in 3D glory, hinting of just what he's capable of. |

NCsoft has released its E3 line-up which the press release called the "market's most anticipated online games". Whether this is true or not is up to you, but there is no doubt that the games are pretty good.Apparently, this feeling is echoed by none other than creator of Tabula Rasa and NCsoft North America CEO Robert Garriott. He gave some very strong opinions regarding the games to released and how he sees the E3 as a staging point in bringing the company's games to the mass market. NCsoft strives to deliver the highest quality online entertainment possible, and these products represent the next generation of online games. This E3 meeting will provide a window for the public to see the breadth of the variety of game genres and business models NCsoft provides, as well as show off how advanced and exciting our products are. So with that said, let's take a look at the NCsoft line-up and see what all the fuss is about:

The official website for NCSoft's new MMORPG (yeah, they got lots of those), Aion: Tower of Eternity, has finally gone live. The website features a load of artwork and screenshots as well as some downloadable videos. You can also find out more about the game's world and the races that inhabit it through the website. Aion: Tower of Eternity has been described in the past as one of the most visually beautiful MMORPGs ever made. The game is set in a fantasy world where two factions of angels are pitted against each other in constant conflict. It also features a free-flight mode that's sure to wow players as well as a "very powerful customization tool". So far, there has been no word on a possible release date for Aion: Tower of Eternity. As for the official website, you can check it out through our read link below. |

While Sephiroth has his own ominous "Sors inanis et inanis" theme song, there's going to be a whole world of that in the upcoming MMO from NCSoft. Set in a fantasy world where two factions of angels are in constant conflict, Aion: The Tower of Eternity will have you in free-flight across their warring world. While war is definitely a gruesome sight, that doesn't mean that the world of Aion is in utter ruin and devastation. In fact, just take a look at the concept art for the various environments in the game. They're jaw-dropping... like jaw-dropping from ten thousand feet from the air. Who thought war could look this good? |

Not much has been said about the MMO Aion: Tower of Eternity that's being prepped over in Korea. And aside from the screenshots that wowed us with images of angel wings (not in an FF title to boot!), and the fleeting interview with Ju-hyun Jang, who said just enough to keep us tingled, a lot of us are pretty much in the dark on what to expect...until now. NCSoft's just broken the silence by releasing this gameplay video that'll provide for a teaser of what's to come when the game does take flight - literally. The vid's going to be showcasing the free-flight mode that their devs have been talking about for ages, and while it doesn't show anything closely resembling the game's Tower of Eternity, the vid does add weight to the devs saying it's one purdy game - there's plenty of hack 'n slash and spell-nuking too. Enjoy! Download: [Aion gameplay trailer] |

The upcoming NCSoft MMO, Aion: The Tower of Eternity, was claimed by our source as "the most visually beautiful MMORPG ever made." Now that sure is one big claim, but we gotta admit, this game does show promise. First of all, the elements of the game itself are intriguing: there's the Tower of Eternity that is a sort of a portal; there's the Abyss which serves as a kind of "dragon jail"; there are characters classified as either "The Chosen" or "The Fallen"; and basically the world's fate is lies in your hands. Also, the lines between "good" and "bad" are blurred, to complicate things further. Anyway, WorthPlaying had a recent a interview with Aion Producer Ju-hyun Jang, and he's gotten us more excited about this game more than ever. Although he's a bit hush hush about the details, he said that there's a "unique feel" to the game's design, the Crytec game engine's being used here, and that they're going to provide a "very powerful customization tool- perhaps more powerful than anything else you've seen". Interestingly, Ju-hyun Jang says you won't have to kill a thousand monsters or do a quest a hundred times just to level up. Quite a breather, isn't it? We sure can't wait for it! |
