Looking at the video, it's definitely clear that combat is not the type we're used to in other MMORPGs. Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures not only features the same brutal combat we'd expect from its source material, but real-time directional slashing. There's also the deal about you being able to move your three layers of armor in any direction at any time, so that whichever direction your enemy is whacking at you, they'll be there to soak in the damage.
