EVE Online - Image 1There are now officially 300,000 active subscribers for CCP's space MMO title, EVE Online, which should be an obvious cause for a celebration. This figure is said to have been beefed up by the newly-added 22% starting the beginning of 2009, not withstanding the trial accounts set up.

But that's not the only number that they've got to show for. Reports have it as well that EVE Online has also broken its record of peak concurrent users (that's three broken times in a row) with a staggering 53, 850 people on the same server (presumably at one time). That's a lot of people playing EVE Online.

Congratulations to CCP for a well-founded game that's been tested throughout time and has been found to be capable enough to live to see its 6th year anniversary!
